No First Look Tips

OK, you’ve made one pretty big decision to not see one another before the ceremony and that is totally great for you. Here’s the thing, as a photographer, I still want to get you some extra photo opportunities. Here is some advice on how to do that…

You can exchange letters and stand back to back or around the corner from one another while you read them with one another. This will give you time again to connect prior to the ceremony and get some jitters out (if you have any)!

You can pray together with a tree between you or back to back or on opposite sides of a wall or door. So much sweet potential here for amazing photos too!

You can have a drink together but on opposite sides of the wall. These are fun photos!

Perhaps you’re not drinking on your wedding day and don’t want to make a big deal out of this time… you can just talk with one another. Trust me, there will be plenty to chat about at this moment.

You can both go blindfolded and hold hands while talking… another good one! Just make sure you can’t see through those blindfolds! I promise it won’t wreck your makeup!

You could also do first looks with people like your parents, the bridesmaids, and the groomsmen but not as a couple – There are unlimited options for this! It’s totally up to you! Want to pick my brain on it, let’s chat!
